Correo Híbrido invests in Océ JetStream 1000
Correo Híbrido equips its new headquarters with the latest continuous feed color printing technology from Océ
Venlo, The Netherlands, 1 November 2010 – Océ, an international leader in digital document management and delivery, today announces that Correo Híbrido (Correos Group), a Spanish specialist in integrated communication services, has equipped its new headquarters in Coslada near Madrid with an Océ JetStream® 1000 printing system. The newly installed inkjet printer combines the advantages of offset printing machines with those of variable data color printing systems.

The Océ JetStream 1000 system enables monthly print volumes of up to 20 million impressions. It is a most flexible system for transaction, direct mail and TransPromo applications and produces full-process color output at a speed of 75 meters per minute resulting in 1010 A4 impressions per minute. The Océ JetStream 1000 has a standard resolution of 600 x 600 dpi and offers a print width of 20.3" and a paper width of 20.5". It is based on proven Océ core developments including Océ DigiDot® drop-on-demand inkjet technology and the SRA® MP controller architecture. Furthermore, the Océ JetStream 1000 is prepared to include additional inkhead arrays to offer 6-color printing at rated speed. Correo Híbrido will benefit from the reliability, print quality and media range associated with the Océ JetStream family.
