FujiFilm and Océ jointly launch LuxelJet UV250GT in Japan

Venlo, The Netherlands, 29 August 2007 — Océ N.V., an international leader in digital document management, today announced that FujiFilm, through their subsidiary FujiFilm Graphics Systems Japan, will launch the LuxelJet UV250GT to the Japanese market during the Sign and Display show in Tokyo from August 30 - September 1, 2007. The LuxelJet UV250GT is a FujiFilm branded Océ Arizona 250 GT.  

The LuxelJet UV250GT offers printing without compromise for a broad range of applications. It uses FujiFilm Sericol UV curable inks and Océ VariaDot™ imaging technology to deliver near-photographic image quality. It also includes a true flatbed platform to print onto a wide variety of rigid substrates. The LuxelJet UV250GT is ideal for producing a wide variety of display graphics such as event graphics, point-of-purchase displays, limited-term signage, banners, backlit and reflective rigid displays, transit advertising, and directional signage.
FujiFilm and Océ have agreed on an exclusive partnership for the Japanese market in which both companies have joined forces to sell and service the dual brand LuxelJet UV250GT. Océ Japan will make use of the extensive service network of FujiFilm Graphics Systems Japan and both companies will benefit from each other's vast expertise in the different segments of the Japanese Display Graphics market.
 
The global display graphics market is expected to grow approximately 6 percent per year. The core providers in this market are digital printers, graphic screenprinters, sign makers, photo labs and reprographers, all producing wide format visual communications for indoor and outdoor use.
