Pushing up performance

Venlo, the Netherlands,  3 July 2006—Two new controllers promise to push up the performance and enhance the functionality of the successful Océ CS520 multifunctional colour system. The bottom line is improved efficiency in an in-house printroom or commercial printshop.

New controller for each model

The two new controllers will certainly suit the requirements of professional printrooms or commercial users. The Océ CS520 itself comes in two versions—a Standard and a Pro model—and a new controller is available for each one. The Océ CS520 Standard is now equipped with a new, powerful embedded controller. The Océ CS520 Pro has a new external controller, which offers the ultimate in performance, workflow control, colour management and variable data printing (VDP) support. Both controllers can be equipped with additional software options for more functionality and security.

 Big in functionality, small in size

The speed, quality and economy of the Océ CS520 have already made a big impact on the market. It prints 51 A4 ppm of top-quality output in colour or B/W and takes very little time to warm up and deliver the first copy. The system's compact design hides a multitude of convenient features for anything from a small-lot print job to a high-volume run, e.g. the extra-large paper-sourcing capacity, on-the-fly toner replacement and ability to switch from single to duplex printing during operations and select white or colour sheets from different trays. Add to this the flexible paper management with weights up to 256 g/m², formats from A5 to A3++ and custom sizes, and a full-bleed printing capability and you can easily see why the Océ CS520 has been selling so well.

Online finishing, improved productivity

The Océ CS520 offers a wide choice of integrated finishing features—stapling, offset-sorting, punching, trimming, three-folding, saddle-stitching and booklet-making—to create an uninterrupted workflow with no delays in producing customised output.
 
The new controllers for the Océ CS520 are available for immediate delivery in countries where the Océ CS520 is part of the Océ Production Colour portfolio.
